The Hornet is a combat wing that was kitted by Midwest. This Hornet has been re-designed structurally to strengthen the wing to prevent airborne structural failure from aerodynamic forces. The original design would maneuver quick enough to tear off the outboard half of the wing. The re-design will maneuver just as tightly, but will not come apart in the air from the reactions to rapid control inputs. The airplane has a 35 7/16” wingspan and 330 square inches of wing area. The CAD plans show all parts full size.
